Eligibility Services

Advanced Reimbursement Management has a proven track record of providing Eligibility Services. We believe that these services are crucial not only for a hospital’s bottom line, but are also an essential community service for many communities that have a high rate of patients without insurance. Our success in this area comes primarily from our customer service orientation. When we go all out to do the right thing for the patient, the hospital benefits as well. To that end we provide the following functions as part of our standard Eligibility Services package:

• On-site team members assist patients in completing applications at the time of service.
• Extensive follow up via phone and letter.
• Home visits to facilitate procurement of document and signatures.
• Taxi service to help patients attend interviews.
• Courier serviced to quickly transport documents.
• Licensed Private Investigative Services to find patients as needed.

We have also developed a proprietary Eligibility Management System with customized reporting to help clients have a solid understanding of conversion rates and reasons for patients not becoming eligible. As with our accounts receivable practice, we note all accounts in the client’s system as well.

Our long-term clients have appreciated our fee structure in which they enjoy a substantially reduced rate for Eligibility Services when they allow us to bill and follow up on all Medicaid accounts. This has proven to be an extremely effective approach to bring cash in the door quickly.
